No 1 Mission

A study of the book of Acts, exploring how the Great Commission played out in the days of the early Church

Priority: Robin Calcutt
Robin explains how we're all called to play our part in God's Great Commission.

The Power Of The Spirit In A Devoted Church: Simon Whittick
Simon looks at Acts 2 to demonstrate how the Holy Spirit operates and how He can transform our lives and the effectiveness of the Church.

Persecution - Barrie Taylor
Barrie looks at Acts 4, exploring how the early Church encountered persecution as they obeyed God's command to spread the Gospel. He reminds us what Jesus had to say about persecution and how God blesses those who are persecuted.

Opportunity - Segun Oladokun
Segun looks at the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 to demonstrate how we cannot fulfil God's plan to spread the Gospel without the power of the Holy Spirit.

Openness - Dave Smith
Dave looks at Acts 10, where Peter's world view is turned on it's head. He encourages us to be open to the fact that God speaks, be ready to take opportunities, be prepared to be challenged and to be immersed in God's story through a greater commitment to studying his Word.

Living By The Power Of The Spirit - Robin Calcutt
Robin uses Acts 16 to demonstrate how we should take risks when it comes to sharing our faith and take advantage of unexpected opportunities. We should recognise how the Spirit leads us by opening and closing doors and that praise and prayer is essential to changing our perspective and releasing power.

Summary - Segun Oladokun
Segun concludes our study of the book of Acts, summarising earlier messages and encouraging us all to fulfil our God-given No 1 Mission to take the Gospel to our ends of the Earth.
