Special Announcement

Ade & KemiIn church this morning, Segun announced that Ade and Kemi will be leaving for Germany on Monday 19th July.

He explained that our support of this project was part of the church's five year vision, which includes supporting a fourth international mission partner.

Ade and Kemi have planning this for twenty years and the time is almost here. That start date was put back due to COVID and made more complicated by Brexit.

Segun explained a bit about where Ade and Kemi would be moving:

Slide4Ade and Kemi are asking for our prayers as they embark upon this exciting new chapter in the lives and put their faith in God as they follow the calling He has given them.

Brexit rules mean that they need to demonstrate that they have £40,000 available to cover their living expenses in the first year. In future years, they expect to be able to support themselves but need to give themselves time to get settled and for Kemi to find work.

The already had £12,800, mostly from their own savings and from donations already received.

People have pledged gifts totaling £4,000 and the church have allocated £6,000 from our mission budget, making a total so far of £23,690.

This leaves a shortfall of £16,310.  If you feel called to support Ade amd Kemi, either with a regular monthly amount for twelve months or to make a one-off donation, please get in touch with them or the church office.

Ade & Kemi's last Sunday with us will be on the 18th. Be sure to join us as we pray over them before sending them off.
